Catherine earned her doctorate through Alliant International University in Los Angeles, CA, and her Bachelor’s degree through the University of Miami in Miami, FL. She has been conducting assessments and indivudual and group therapy since 2003.

Her approach to therapy is to create a safe space where it is possible to examine patterns of behavior and develop a realistic, life-changin plan. She enjoys finding a balance between the science behind effective mental health care and the art of tailoring current research to each client. Her practice has included a wide variety of mental health issues, from serious mental illness, head injuries, relationship issues, and learning disorders; and a wide variety of clients, people of all ages, varied races, from all walks of life. I have gained these skills during my time as an intern with Omega Mental Health and continue to grow under supervision as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor to best meet the diverse needs of Central Valley’s underserved communities and populations. Specialties — I have been trained to practice faith-based interventions along with other theoretical orientations such as Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Existential as my primary modalities. I am EMDR Trained and am working towards EMDR Certification. I am open to using varying treatment styles based on client needs.
