Danell is a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Masters of Science in Professional Clinical Counseling. Danell also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno. Danell previously worked as an elementary school teacher and also spent many years working in the health insurance industry.

ElizDanell believes strongly in a person-centered strengths-based approach to therapy and understands the importance of working to provide empathy and support while helping clients develop the skills and strategies needed to work through depression, anxiety, and trauma. Danell utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to address cognitive distortions and unhelpful behaviors.

Danell also has a passion for working with clients who have experienced trauma and is currently in a training program for EMDR therapy.
