Roger Brown is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)of Building Youth Tomorrow Today (BYTT) Community-Based organization. Prior to Mr. Brown appointment as Founder/CEO from September 2011 to Present. He has served as a California Correctional Officer over 13 years.
In addition, Roger has over 18 years of experience working at all levels of public education. Mr. Roger has been a community parent for students and mentor, parent partnership and friendship, academic achievement advisor, athletic coach and trainer for students, resumer memoir of education and community voice.
Brown has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminology, from California State University of Fresno and Educational Community Awareds and Certificates in Fresno County. He was honored and recognized as Educational Partnerships of Parent Empowerment, for "Outstanding Leadership Award" from University of California Merced; Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) for "Dedication To Achieving a Better Education For All Our Children" plaque from Edison High School Principal and Fresno Unified School District (FUSD) Staff; Sustainable Education Program, for "Successfully Completed Children Project Certificate" from First 5 of Fresno County; Parent Appreciation of Care, for "Sports Parenting Achievement Plaque" from the FUSD Quarterback Club of Parent Participate Team; and Special Congressional Recognition, for "Black Men and Boys Leadership Academy Award" from Member of Congress 20th Congressional District of California, Jim Costa.
One capstone of his tenure as a community educational parent. He currently serves his time at the Boys/Girls Club of America in Fresno County and strive young students for higher education in the area of Fresno County of Education.
